Win a GoPro Camera and be a star at the 48th Annual DeMolay Congress in June!
You can be a Hollywood producer, director, videographer, editor, actor, narrator, and writer! This competition is open to active DeMolays between the ages of 12 and 21 years of age.
The video presentation could include “elevator speeches”, DeMolays reflecting upbeat, fun events and activities and perhaps “stories” of what DeMolay means to you and why you belong to DeMolay. The video should convey to a prospective member why he should consider joining our premier youth organization. Channel your inner-Hollywood and help grow DeMolay.
Submission Process:
- We need videos that every DeMolay can direct friends to that will explain why we enjoy our organization and why they should consider joining.
- Video submissions can be produced individually or with your Chapter.
- Length of your video should be between 2-7 minutes.
- The winning video will be selected by the International Master Councilor and the International Congress Secretary and may be shown at the 48th Annual DeMolay International Session being held in Orlando, Florida this June where the winner may have an opportunity to introduce it via Skype!!!
- The videos will also be promoted and shown on the DeMolay.org website and DeMolay International Facebook page.
- Additionally, every submission received will be entered into a drawing to win a Go-Pro video camera which can be used to create even more videos of all your DeMolay experiences.
- Submit your video by posting the video to YouTube and then emailing a link to the video to DeMolayContest@DeMolay.org. Please include your full name, email address and phone number in the email as well as the name and location of your DeMolay Chapter.
- Deadline for submission is midnight, June 1st 2015. Please refer any questions to DeMolayContest@DeMolay.org.
Additional Rules and Guidelines
* For youth protection reasons, you may use first names, but do not use last names of people in your videos. Videos must also comply with YouTube policies and guidelines (http://www.youtube.com/yt/policyandsafety/communityguidelines.html).
