Cameron Michael Wickens, 24, of Hudson, NH, passed away on Sunday, July 7.
He was born on September 16, 1994, in Lowell, MA, the son of Franklin and Cynthia (Goulet) Wickens. He attended Hudson schools and graduated from Alvirne High School. He was currently enrolled at NH School of Mechanical Trades in Manchester where he was working towards a career as an electrician. He loved working at Gagne Electric as an apprentice and would often come home after a long day discussing the jobs and new skills he learned. He also worked part time at Lowe’s where he made many friends.
Cameron grew up as an outgoing, happy child. He swam for high school and the YMCA. He had achieved a junior black belt in Kenpo Karate. As an adult he was an avid snowmobiler and motorcyclist. He had a thirst for knowledge and loved a good party, making the best Moscow mules.
He is a member of Pentucket Lodge, A.F. & A.M. and was actively involved with the Lowell Chapter Order of DeMolay as a member of the advisory board.
He was a wonderful son, brother, in-law, uncle and friend. He was larger than life with a smile and a hug for everyone. He loved to cook and spending time with family, especially visiting with his brother for long talks about life.
He is survived by his parents, his older brother Curtis and his wife Page and their daughter Emma. He also leaves a maternal grandmother, Louise Clark, in Titusville FL. He will be missed by his aunts and uncles, Carol Wickens of Maine, Cathleen Wheatley of North Carolina, Anthony Provencher and his wife Nancy of New Hampshire and Steven Provencher and his wife Diane of California, great aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends.
